SCRIP Program Summary

This program provides the school with some additional funds, and it also gives you the opportunity to reduce tuition costs for your family through your everyday spending (ex. Groceries, eating out, shopping, travel and gas.)  Tuition credit is earned by ordering gift cards through St. Michael School.  These gift cards are the same ones you would buy if you went to a store to purchase them yourself.  The only difference, is that when you buy them through the school, St. Michael’s receives a rebate and so do you! 

Your rebate is automatically tabulated and applied to your child’s tuition for the next year (whether at St. Michael, Central Catholic, or St. Thomas).  You are also welcome to encourage other family members or friends to use SCRIP for their gift card purchases and it can be applied to your families’ fund as well.

Gift cards are available for both local and national retailers.  Rebates cary depending on the retailer.  Gift cards are purchased online at your convenience.  Payments can be done online or turned into the school and cards can be sent home with your child or picked up in the office when they come in. 

Not enrolled in the SCRIP program? It is never too late to start earning tuition rebates toward your family's
tuition. Families who participated last school year earned $14,500.00 in tuition rebates!

Scrip “In-House” Cards

Gift cards to a few local retailers are available to you every day of the week through the school office.  To purchase these you need to complete the online registration at www.ShopwithScrip.com.   Orders can be picked up Mondays or Fridays from 10:00-2:00 or they can be sent home with your child any day of the week.  Please mark envelopes clearly with “SCRIP IN-HOUSE” so we know to attend to it that day. 

Retailers available through the In-House program are:

• GIANT EAGLE – earns a 4% rebate.  Gift cards can be used to buy gift cards ar Giant Eagle and you also will then earn Gas Perks.  Double dip!  It’s Allowed!!
• ACME – earns a 4% rebate.  Can also use to purchase gift cards from Acme and earn Gas Perks.
• KOHL’S – earns 4% rebate.  Can use the cards to make payment on your Kohl’s credit card.

****Remember:  Even if you only want to purchase the In-House cards, you still must register at www.shopwithscrip.com.  We cannot accept In-House orders if you are not registered.
