HOW TO ORDER SCRIP CARDS
1. An enrollment form must be completed each year and enclosed with your first order. The Disclaimer of Responsibility section is needed only if someone besides you or your spouse will be picking up your certificates or if your SCRIP is to be sent home with your child.
2. On your order sheet, write the quantity of each card that you wish to purchase. The value of each card is listed on the order form (1% has already been deducted for maintenance fees). Total the order and enclose your payment. When writing a check, please make payable to "St. Michael" and record your check number and total on the order sheet. If any discrepancy is found in the amount submitted, you will be contacted and notified that your order may not be able to be processed that week.
3. Place your order in an envelope clearly marked "SCRIP". Orders are due by Friday at 9:00 am and should be turned in to the school. No late orders will be accepted, but they can be held until the following week. The following Thursday, your filled order will be sent home with your student in their green folder or will be available for pickup at the school office after 9 am. Please specify how you would like your order returned to you on each order form.
4. Labels will be attached to all delivered orders. The label will indicate the family name, amount ordered and the rebate earned should you like to keep track of it yourself.
5. If your check is returned because of non-sufficient funds (NSF), you will be charged a $10.00 fee payable to St. Michael. After two NSF checks are tendered on your account, your SCRIP ordering privileges will be limited to money orders only.
6. When you get your SCRIP cards, open your order and verify its accuracy. In the unlikely event you should find a discrepancy in your SCRIP order, please contact Colleen Mallette (330-433-0024) or Dina Sprague (330-455-3079) within 24 hours, do not call the school office as they do not have anything to do with filling your order.
7. Letters will be sent to families in January and May indicating the total amount accumulated (up to that time) that will be credited towards tuition the following year.

| SCRIP IN-HOUSE CHANGES 9/08
We are excited to announce some changes to the SCRIP cards that will now be offered in our own school office. For ease of use while shopping for groceries or pumping gas, we now are going to offer:
$100 cards for Acme, Giant Eagle, Marathon, and Speedway!
In December, we will also be offering additional cards in-house for last-minute Christmas gifts, so watch for that announcement soon. Don’t forget, all SCRIP orders provide St. Michael School with 1% of the proceeds!
The in-house cards will still be available in the office on Mondays and Fridays between 10:00-2:00, and also most Wednesdays before/after the school masses in the Gathering Space. You also have the option of sending in your yellow in-house order form and check with your child any weekday, and mark if you plan to pick it up that day (if a Mon. or Fri.) or have it sent home with your child that same day (as long as it can get processed and the teachers pick it up from their mailboxes in time). The revised yellow form is attached which shows all the changes mentioned. Don’t forget to mark all envelopes with either “SCRIP” or “In-House SCRIP” so we know how quickly to process them.
Here is another way to maximize your usage of SCRIP, as some parents have discovered. By purchasing extra Giant Eagle cards from us, and using them to buy their gift cards at their store, you get a higher percentage return on your tuition credit (4%) than you can buying the following from SCRIP - Home Depot, Toys and Babies R Us, and Best Buy - plus you still get your Fuelperks! So it’s like getting a double bonus! In addition, Giant Eagle carries the following cards that SCRIP doesn’t offer – Grinders, McDonalds, other prepaid and wireless phone minutes (like Cingular, TMobile and Verizon), several online sports venues (MLB.com, NIKE.com, NBAStore.com, NFLShop.com, and NASCAR) in addition to Cavalier and Indian Gift Store cards. So buy your Giant Eagle gift cards weekly!
We will be offering Buehler/Ace cards again in February since Fishers is no longer available.
