Notes from Our Principal

May 28, 2009
Dear Parents,
You’re probably saying the same thing I am right now -- where has the year gone? Looking back, we have had some sorrowful days, but many more of them joyful. We had some failures, but many more successes. I pray that our children have grown spiritually, academically, socially, and physically and that the growth continues over the summer.
I can never express my gratitude enough to all of you for sending us the gifts of your children, as I firmly believe with all my heart and from my own personal experience that you are doing the best thing you can do for your children by giving them a Catholic Christian education. You may already see its value, but probably won’t until they are adults when life becomes more complex and their faith life becomes so much more important.
I also cannot thank you all enough for your support and Great Spirit of volunteerism. Whatever I ask for, I receive and in abundance. My gratitude goes out to all who helped us this year in any way.
News about next school year will come home in the August letter, but I want to give you a heads up about something we will be trying for next year. I am working with a company that will allow us to make all school and even small group phone calls and email Green Folder information. More later -- you may even get a call when it’s in full operation. Please make sure Mrs. Rinaldi has your email address by next school year.
Enjoy a wonderful family summer. God bless all of you and continue to pray for our St. Michael intentions.
Mrs. Sally Roden
