Curriculum encompasses the sequentially ordered learning experiences, which the school provides for its students.  The total curriculum includes the development of Catholic values and attitudes, as well as the attainment of knowledge and skills necessary for the students' spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical development. Curriculum

The school follows the diocesan course of study.  The basic curriculum for the school (but not necessarily for each grade level) includes the following subjects:  Religion, Reading, Language Art, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, Health and Safety, Physical Education, Computer Education, Spanish, Ohio and American History.  State time allotments are followed for each area of the curricula. Current textbooks and materials are used in all areas of the curriculum.  Supplementary materials, such as films, computer software, and transparencies are used to enhance the instructional program.

Grading/Report Cards

Students log on here for your grades! Evaluation of the student is based on teacher judgment an observation, daily work, teacher prepared test, class participation and effort. The purpose of report cards is to alert the parents and present to them an assessment of their child's achievement in his/her academic studies. The approved Diocesan report cards are distributed quarterly.  Students in grades 5-8 who maintain a 3.0 or above will be eligible for honor roll for each quarter.  Specials are included in Honor Roll at semesters.
